Hello friends,
lately I have been undertaking a foray into some smaller scales and air combat during the numerous Cold War era conflicts. First up are some Arab-Israeli Wars. I got some planes from Tumbling Dice including Dessault Mirage III planes used by the Israeli Air Force. They come in a pack of 4. Here's my take at the 119th squadron "The Bat". The decals come from Flight Deck Decals and I must say they are damn good.
Epic markings and a tough paint scheme on these Mirage IIIs, Piotr. Damn, on June 5, 1967, these planes wrecked three air forces of three nations and landed home in time for lunch.
OdpowiedzUsuńMirage III - a great plane in 1967, and incredibly great interceptor flying in a STRAIGHT LINE ... but my Argentinian Mirage IIIs in 1982 against British Harriers armed with American AIM-9L missiles ... didn't fare nearly as well
Thanks Jim. Loved the Falklands series. Different ear different times. The Argentinians, whether we consider them the bad guys or not did put up a fight.
