Hello friends, time for a second battle report on this blog and this time Swans faced Retribution of Scyrah in a 75 pts Steam Roller 2017 game. My opponent tutor was Elros. The game was more of a learning one since it was my first game (can you believe it?!) against Retribution plus I wanted to learn and thus while discussing some stuff we paused the clock. In addition, this was my first game with this list and with a colossal. Hello friends, finally I have managed to finish painting Major Beth Maddox. I admit I've been trying to do this for like a month, but the low quality of the PP starter box sculpts was not helping. Some of the details are barely visible like the Swan on her shoulder pad. Anyway, she is done, I am not happy with the results, but well you are the judges over here :). I will just add that Beth had spent some time as a prisoner in the Protectorate of Menoth and her command tactics resembles the we leave no man behind credo. You can find a great description of her in the Acts of War: Flashpoint book where she plays the savior of Llael propaganda role. Soon the second tome will hit the shelves so you still have time to catch up with the plot. Cześć i czołem, w końcu!
